JENNIFER ANISTON AND JUSTIN THEROUX CALL IT QUITS

By | MS&J Feed | No Comments

“They have been apart a lot recently.  She spent her 49th birthday with friends, not Justin.”   -Jodi

According to people.com

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have split after two and a half years of marriage — and seven years as a couple.

“In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation,” says a statement released by longtime Aniston publicist Stephen Huvane. “This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.

“Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly. Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else’s fictional narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another. ”

‘Stranger Things’ season 3 details are trickling out

By | MS&J Feed | No Comments

8 episodes is not a problem – but the wait might be!

The third season of “Stranger Things” is still a year away, but details, however small, are starting to trickle out.

The next season of Netflix’s hit 1980s-set science fiction-horror series will, sadly, be one episode shorter than season 2. Netflix confirmed to CNET that season 3 will consist of eight episodes, the same as the first season. Season 2 was nine episodes long. (Although some fans intentionally may choose to forget episode 7, “The Lost Sister,” a controversial story in which Eleven tracks down a mysterious fellow alum of Hawkins Lab.)

The premium streaming service also confirmed that production will begin in mid-April.

The news was first reported by TVLine.

Co-showrunner Matt Duffer has already said the third season will take place in 1985, advancing a year from the end of season 2.

“Even if we wanted to hop into the action faster, we couldn’t,” Duffer told The Hollywood Reporter in October. “Our kids are aging. We can only write and produce the show so fast. They’re going to be almost a year older by the time we start shooting season 3. It provides certain challenges. You can’t start right after season 2 ended. It forces you to do a time jump. But what I like is that it makes you evolve the show. It forces the show to evolve and change, because the kids are changing.”

No release date for the third season has been confirmed, but star David Harbour (police Chief Jim Hopper) has said it’ll “probably” be 2019, which makes sense based on an April filming start.

Shaun White wins USA’s 100th all-time Winter Olympic gold medal

By | MS&J Feed | No Comments

“I was SO nervous watching him – my stomach was tight.  He FLIES!  It was insane!”

According to NBC

Shaun White has reclaimed his Olympic halfpipe title and won the United States’ 100th all-time gold medal at the Winter Olympics.

And he did it in dramatic fashion, landing back-to-back 1440s as part of a final run that knocked Japan’s Ayumu Hirano out of the top spot.

With the win, White is now the first snowboarder to ever become a three-time Olympic champion. Twelve years after winning his first gold medal at the 2006 Torino Games, he is also the first American man to win the same individual event at three different Winter Olympics.

Much has been made of White’s quest for a third gold medal ever since a disappointing result at the last Olympics, where he finished fourth and lost his Olympic title to Switzerland’s Iouri Podladtchikov.

Podladtchikov was unable to compete in PyeongChang due to a recent injury, but there were two other riders considered to be White’s biggest challengers at these Olympics: Japan’s Ayumu Hirano and Australia’s Scotty James.

White, Hirano and James have all stepped up their riding over the course of this season with progressive new runs. In Tuesday’s qualifying round, all three put down heavy runs in an attempt to outdo each other, but they saved their biggest tricks for the final.

James came out on his first run and grabbed the lead after landing a technical run that included back-to-back 1260s up top and a switch backside 1260 — an extremely challenging trick that no other rider has ever done — at the bottom.

Ed Sheeran Asked to Perform at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Royal Wedding

By | MS&J Feed | No Comments

Ed Sheeran.  The Ultimate Wedding Singer?!   We think so.  But will he do it?

According to Entertainment Tonight

The royal ball is in Ed Sheeran’s court.

A source tells ET that the “Shape of You” singer has been asked to perform a few songs at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s royal wedding in May. ET has reached out to Sheeran’s rep regarding the request.

If Sheeran accepts, Meghan and Harry will have landed the “Perfect” song for a first dance, especially if the 26-year-old singer can get Beyonce to join him for a royal wedding rendition of their romantic duet.

ET’s royal correspondent, Victoria Arbiter, thinks Sheeran would be a great fit for the job.

“Ed Sheeran has yet to confirm but I’m not sure you turn down Prince Harry and Meghan Markle,” she notes. “People love his romantic love songs so he’s an ideal candidate for that first dance and I think Harry has always enjoyed Ed Sheeran.”

If he does play, Arbiter believes, it will be during the evening reception.

“This is where everyone’s really going to get down, this is for close friends and family,” she says. “It’s going to be hosted by Prince Charles and so I think if Ed Sheeran is going to be performing at any of them, it’s going to be [the evening reception].

Cattrall-Parker feud was brewing for two decades.

By | MS&J Feed | No Comments

According to Fox News

he public feud between former “Sex and the City” co-stars Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker has been privately brewing since the early days of the show– two decades ago– with the latest burst being just the latest example.

Cattrall announced the death of her brother Christopher on social media last week, prompting thousands of fans and close friends to send condolences to the actress and her family.

Among those commenting was Cattrall’s longtime show co-star Parker, who wrote: “Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother. Xx.”

But Cattrall was not enthused by Parker’s gesture. She snapped back in an Instagram post asking her to “stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona” and shared a New York Post article detailing the “mean-girls” culture encouraged by Parker.
