THIS is how you help a friend feel better after her worst week ever!  In this case, she’s your Ex.

According to aol.com

Josh Duhamel and Fergie may have called it quits last September, but they still support each other through good times and bad.

Following the “Hungry” singer’s jazzy, slowed-down rendition of the “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday (which was slammed by fans and celebrities like Roseann Barr on social media), Duhamel was spotted arriving to his ex’s house with flowers.

While dropping off their 4-year-old son, Axl, Duhamel, clad in a fitted gray T-shirt, matching pants and a backwards baseball cap, was photographed carrying a bouquet of gorgeous pink and red roses to help comfort his estranged wife.

FERGIE SPEAKS OUT ON CONTROVERSIAL NATIONAL ANTHEM RENDITION

By | MS&J Feed | No Comments

“You can do your own rendition of a lot of songs – but not that one.”  -Sam

According to ESPN

Nearly 24 hours after her controversial rendition of the national anthem, Fergie issued a statement Monday addressing criticism of her performance at Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game.

“I’ve always been honored and proud to perform the national anthem and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA,” the Black Eyed Peas singer said in a statement on Monday. “I’m a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn’t strike the intended tone. I love this country and honestly tried my best.”

While Fergie tried something different with her national anthem, not everybody was cheering.

Her slow, bluesy rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” before the 67th edition of the NBA’s annual showcase wasn’t particularly well received at the Staples Center or on social media.

JODI’S 3 NEW AFTERNOON SNACKS

By | MS&J Feed | No Comments

I’ve lost 15 pounds.  This is a miracle for me – because I am a snack monster.  Snacking HAPPENS to me everyday.

Here are the things I’ve been eating in the afternoons that are NOT chips, cookies etc.

1 – Plain, Nonfat Greek Yogurt.  WITH a tad of artificial sweetener and sometimes fruit.  (it’s only tolerable when I add this stuff. VERY good this way)

2 – 1 Big Naval Orange  (sweet, juicy, and fills me up)  Why do we overlook fruit?  It’s filling, and DELISH.

3 – Iced espresso shot on ice, WITH a Pure Protein or Muscle Milk type drink!  Tastes like a creamy, fancy coffee drink, but MUCH lower in calories and high in protein (which means to fills me up)

***I will always snack, and when I grow bored of these snacks, I will create others – and share with you.

JENNIFER ANISTON AND JUSTIN THEROUX CALL IT QUITS

By | MS&J Feed | No Comments

“They have been apart a lot recently.  She spent her 49th birthday with friends, not Justin.”   -Jodi

Listen to the full Hollywood Outsider in the show podcast below. [starting at 13:32]

According to people.com

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have split after two and a half years of marriage — and seven years as a couple.

“In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation,” says a statement released by longtime Aniston publicist Stephen Huvane. “This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.

“Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly. Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else’s fictional narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another. ”

‘Stranger Things’ season 3 details are trickling out

By | MS&J Feed | No Comments

8 episodes is not a problem – but the wait might be!

The third season of “Stranger Things” is still a year away, but details, however small, are starting to trickle out.

The next season of Netflix’s hit 1980s-set science fiction-horror series will, sadly, be one episode shorter than season 2. Netflix confirmed to CNET that season 3 will consist of eight episodes, the same as the first season. Season 2 was nine episodes long. (Although some fans intentionally may choose to forget episode 7, “The Lost Sister,” a controversial story in which Eleven tracks down a mysterious fellow alum of Hawkins Lab.)

The premium streaming service also confirmed that production will begin in mid-April.

The news was first reported by TVLine.

Co-showrunner Matt Duffer has already said the third season will take place in 1985, advancing a year from the end of season 2.

“Even if we wanted to hop into the action faster, we couldn’t,” Duffer told The Hollywood Reporter in October. “Our kids are aging. We can only write and produce the show so fast. They’re going to be almost a year older by the time we start shooting season 3. It provides certain challenges. You can’t start right after season 2 ended. It forces you to do a time jump. But what I like is that it makes you evolve the show. It forces the show to evolve and change, because the kids are changing.”

No release date for the third season has been confirmed, but star David Harbour (police Chief Jim Hopper) has said it’ll “probably” be 2019, which makes sense based on an April filming start.
